Bobo the cat is perhaps the world's furriest shop assistant. He worked in a shop in Chinatown, New York, for nine years and has never taken a day off. Bobo was brought in as a kitten when he was a stray and had nowhere to live. He was looked after by store employees and a lawyer who regularly visited the shop.

Bobo obtained a proper care-giver in Annie, who is working at the shop. "At the store, he likes to sit near the entrance and greet customers. He has his own scratcher lounge towards the front of the store and likes to sit there. He also likes to look out the window, a curious cat! Bobo’s personality is calm and friendly. He is the only cat in the store. He’s the king of the store!"

It was Annie decided to set up an Instagram to document his various activities. He's since become somewhat of a local celebrity, and has been filmed for local media.

Bobo's Instagram got so popular he got "interviewed" by local media couple of months back, and now he's not only all over the web but also was in the news. Quite a long way from a stray.
